  • The stringed instrument is handcrafted from very aged European wood, that has been natural dried for 15 years, For the top we use Solid wood Carpathian Resonance Spruce and for the sides and back we use very Flamed - Solid Carpathian Maple.
  • The Gama 4/4 (full size) violin is hand varnished and it feature hand inlaid purfling, the fittings are hand carved from exotic wood, high-quality ebony. The fittings are professionally installed and adjusted to meet or exceed MENC specifications and standards.

It is handmade in the workshop of the award-winning violin maker Vasile Gliga, from Reghin (This famous violin-making town has been a Centre of Excellence for over 300 years), Romania, with over 27 years of experience, knowledge and confidence to properly offer you the best stringed instruments: violin, viola, cello, double-bass. The Master Luthier Vasile GLIGA is member of VSA - Violin Society of America and of the NAMM (National Association of music Merchants). The violinmaker is one of the few luthiers who has received the world recognition at the International Triennial Competition of Stringed Instruments "Antonio Stradivari", from Cremona. He features in the catalogue of the Cremona Contest at the 11th position, taking part in the Contest of Violin-makers from Mittenwald, Germany as well. His finest workmanship was also appreciated by the greatest American violinist Sir Yehudi Menuhin himself.

It is has a loud and crisp sound very pretty .I bought better strings to achieve a better sound. I am very pleased.Beautiful instrument and case. Good bow and comes with rosin.A good violin for the price.
