These closet pole hooks are solid steel and very hefty. They hang the pole about 3” from whatever they’re mounted to, which was a bit low for my needs. So I found another closer pole solution.That all being said, I used these hooks in the shop. Mounted directly to the ceiling joists, these hold a crazy amount of weight, far more than any closet pole would need. Five stars for being actual solid metal. Very useful for hanging almost anything.
