1. Place the bracket on a solid wall and mark the screw holes
2. Drill holes at the position of the mark
3. Knock the yellow anchor into the wall
4. Screw the screw through the bracket screw hole into the yellow anchor
5. Tighten the side screws to fix the rod

The product itself has worked well. Strong, sturdy. The screws that came with the heavy duty closet rod holder were beyond horrible. I would cut more stars if I didn't already have ones that fit and worked at home. If I had to go out to purchase would have been down a star or two. Could only find plastic ones at the store that already cracked, hence why ordered this. Two seconds into project the screws stripped -way too easily even with starting the hole to screw into wood. The rod holder though is sturdy and holding up the heavy winter coats without being on the floor. Make sure have better screws before start the project or replacing or hanging.
