I have been looking for a wood saw blade for my m12 tool. When I saw this I thought I would give it a try. Just used it today and it worked great for what I needed it for.

This fits very nicely in my Dremel Ultrasaw. The only caution is that you are limited how deeply you can cut. The factory wood blade is 3.9 inches diameter and ALMOST gets through a 3/4 inch board (a 1 by). With this 3 inch diameter blade, your depth-of-cut is limited to about 3/8 inch. That's fine for a lot of metals and plastics, but not so good for wood, so plan accordingly. The cut I did in pine was nice and clean, just not all the way through it.I had a piece of Plexiglass/acrylic about 1/16 inch thick. It cut right through it, but unsurprisingly, it left a semi-melted edge that would need to be cleaned up. There was no depositing of acrylic to remove from the blade. I am pretty sure this would not be an issue with most flooring materials.I did not have any non-ferrous metal to test. The blades have a rubbery ring for storing the blades and protecting the edges. A nice touch.

What makes the 3" Dewalt grinder better than it is straight out of the box? Nothing... or so I thought until I put these blades on it. My old circular saws are now called "dust collectors".Pros: These little blades are ferocious. And on a tool as small as the little Dewalt grinder, it's easy to maneuver, use all day, and cut a ton of different stuff.Cons: They're small and sharp, just need to pay attention esp installing the blade. And that makes the 2nd part even more important -> there really isn't a safety to keep you or your fingers from getting hacked up. A grinder sucks touching your skin, but these blades make it more like a chainsaw touching your skin. It's easy to get complacent, and it makes sense that big companies (Milwauke, Dewalt, etc) don't advertise tools to be used with these blades. The blade is spinning at 18k rpms... one little slip and you're gonna spend next week's paycheck (or more) making your doctor's vacation more worthwhile. That said, they work extremely well and are quite durable. I use them on vinyl siding jobs, seeing as changing blade direction is the flip of a switch and I can go from cutting vinyl to trim to whatever. The blades made an awesome tool... more awesome.
