used a cordless drill to power it, so it worked decent but not great. I had to work at getting the area smooth. I am hoping it would work better on a die grinder. The shank did not protrude out past the top of the bit.

The tool itself does a great job. The only slight problem is that you must grind down the bolt head so it is usable in the grinder head.

just used this with my cordless drill on the inside of a bigtruck tire yesterday very efficient does what its made to do! very good addition to my tire patch/plug kit

This tool is very aggressive, and depending on the tool you're spinning it with, can be difficult to control. I recommend practicing on a scrap tire prior to using it on a tire you care about to minimize the risk of removing too much material.

This is an amazing tool, is very hard, and don't get bend like the bigger kind that are more thinner and weaker. It took a little long after I'd ordered but, I recommend it.
