I’ve tried other electronic dog fences, but this one is in a league of its own! The 3500ft wireless dog fence is perfect for my large property, and the 6100ft remote range is insane—I can train my dog from across the yard! The hidden boundary is completely invisible, so my landscaping stays flawless. My dog picked up on the boundaries in just a couple of days, and the adjustable static levels are gentle yet effective. The waterproof collar is a lifesaver for rainy days, and the battery life is unreal. This is hands-down the best dog containment solution I’ve ever used!

First off, 3500' is literally over a half a mile and there is not a single scenario in which I can imagine letting my dog get that far from me unleashed. In fact all of the wireless fence settings above 9 (400') seem like overkill, but I'm sure there are scenarios where they might be suitable.As far as the devices themselves go, the collar adjusts easily, powers on, beeps, vibrates, and emits a static discharge as expected. For my dog, who's been reactive collar trained, I find that level 1 on vibration is sufficient IF she is slow to respond to the beep. I don't use shock on her at all, but that's because she's beep compliant more often than not.I did test the higher levels of vibration, in my hand, and they all function as expected with an escalation in intensity.I tested the shock functionality but only with the sensor that's included in the box.The remote is easy to use, easy to hold, and fairly intuitively designed. I appreciate that the largest and most prominently placed button is the beep since that's my go to correction. That said, all of the other functions work well and adjustments are easy to do and can be done on the fly.The wireless fence option is the reason I chose this setup. We live in the country, on multiple acres, and even though the property is fully fenced and gated I prefer for my dog to stay closer to home and away from the gates, wood pile (snakes) and chickens.Being able to set so many distance options and to find the one that most suited my needs is a huge plus.I had quite a time with my son and I running around the property and testing the different distances, connectivity, and options. I'm sure the one set of neighbors who can see onto our property were laughing at us.Overall this is a great setup, but I did deduct a star from what would have been a 5 star review because I feel like there's a little bit of lag on the wireless fence and that a running dog could be well past the boundary before the collar was activated. It's not an issue for me seeing as we're fully fenced anyway, but it would matter in a wide open setting.
