I like the fire pit. It's nice and large and stable. I've had several nice fires in it and it seems to be holding up well. It comes with a cooking grill, a fire poker, and instructions. You definitely need those to put the thing together. It comes in about ~30 pieces held together by ~50+ screws of 4 or 5 different varieties, which are similar, but not identical, so you have to read carefully to use the right screws for the right holes, or you'll run out later on. The instructions also tell you not to put more than 5 lbs of wood in it. That's about 1 good-sized log. They also tell you NOT to cook with the cooking grate. Seriously. My guess is that they don't want the liability of someone filling the thing with wood, having a way too large bonfire in it, and blaming the fire pit when their house burns down. Or the relatively thin metal bottom can't handle the heat + weight? As for the cooking grate, maybe they're importing these things into California where everything causes cancer? I don't know, but if you know how to build a proper, controlled fire, and make a nice bed of coals, you'll probably void the warranty (is there one?) as you cook your steaks.

Larger than most firepits I've seen at the big box stores and appears very well made. It took my husband about 1.5 hours to get it put together and theyeven included a bag of extra hardware! Can't wait for cooler weather to give it a try. Husband did say he might have to drill a couple of holes in the bottom as it doesn't look like rainwater will drain, but we'll see what happens after a big rain. Very pleased!

This is a decorative firepit and is very easy to assemble. The material is not thick enough to withstand intense heat and will degrade quickly if charcoal was used in it. If the plan is to use it camping for cooking or big campfire, it will not last a week. I plan to keep covered in yard to avoid rust, spray with heat resistant grill paint after it shows pealing and will place in shed over the winter. Those practices will allow it to be useful for a few years. The pit comes with numerous pieces and screws so it will eventually break apart as such and be easy to throw into the trash can to dispose of. A 24" soil sifter sits nicely on top of the grilling grate to keep errant ambers from jumping out on a breezy day.

Great product very well packaged and good directions. Putting it together was easy and took me about 45 - 50 minutes to assemble by myself. Strong build, sturdy and I noticed that if separated in the future it could be easily fixed. Nice deep bowl and plenty room to start and maintain your fire. The stars and over all look of this fire pit is really nice I got good compliments on the size and look of it. Definitely a recommendation.
