Heavy, sturdy, and strong. Also scrapes the soup on the bottom well. Seems very durable with 316L stainless steel.

This ladle is made of heavy-duty stainless steel. It's very shiny and there's nothing cheap about it. The bottom (spoon) part is heavier than the handle. That gives it a comfortable feel when using it.

Gorgeous polished stainless ladle. This is a heavy ladle and quite functional. I think the handle is not quite as long as it could be. The handle itself is 9". It feels just a little short when you use it, and the end is a bit uncomfortable in your hand. But it truly is beautiful!

This is a FANTASTIC Ladle and is exactly as the Product Page described. It's made of High Quality 316L Marine Grade Stainless Steel. In other words, it will out last ANY other NON 316L S.S. Utensils or Cookware. Watch bands and Salt Water Vessels use 316L so that it doesn't corrode/rust in those high salt almost constant exposure environments.I love to cook and anytime I find 316L utensils or cookware I get them. At this price it's a bargain buy. I already had the Slotted Ladle and now I have this to make my set complete. If you want to store these in a drawer like I do, they NEST perfectly together. I was surprised at how well they mated up to save space.They are SOLID 316L Stainless Steel. Nothing Hollow or any Seams. Just well made and very functional.At this great price (Under $20 each at the time of this review) "I" would suggest that you get the set, both the Slotted and Regular 316L Ladles.I'm "Over The Moon" Happy with it and give it my Highest recommendation.

This ladle is heavyweight, shiny, and designed beautifully.The design includes a rounded pouring notch on the left side only, which caters to right-handed users. I believe having notches on both sides would enhance user-friendliness. I appreciate the flatter, stretched design, which resembles a punch bowl style, as it makes it easier to scrape the bottoms of pans or bowls. However, due to its shallow depth, it holds only about 2 ounces of liquid at a time, while my standard rounded ladle holds approximately 5.5 ounces.

This soup ladle lives up to its claims. It's a fairly thick stainless steel that's not going to bend or get dinged up easily. The handle stays cool even when the bowl of the spoon is exposed to prolonged heat. And the little cutout on the bowl really does make for fewer drips when spooning out the soup. So, I've enjoyed using this and it was a good choice to add to my kitchen utensils.

We were in need of a new ladle, and this size and shape are just right.Sometimes ladles are either too large or too small, and this size seems just about right to use for stews and such.Well built, I'm sure this will last a long time.
