1 .there was no fletchings and no way to put any on. would not fit my fletching jig. And could not fit a jig. 2. it had propietry points rather than screw in points . despite the use of ferrels that used the screw in points

These are short (29"). If you're over 6 feet tall don't expect to get a full draw from these. That being said, they're perfectly straight and slightly forward balanced. Storage/shipping tube is ideal to keep everything organized and intact. Just wish each section was about an inch longer and they'd be perfect

Fletching is well done and they fit together firmly. My brother really like these arrows and I like that this birthday present was awesome!

So here's a overview/look at Pocket Shot's version of Take down arrows. One thing to note before going in. Is most of the info on their website and here is wrong. They are not 30inch arrows. They are 29inches. Even their website shows a picture of the bottle case displaying '29inch' in bold. They are also ALL the same sized shafts, No odd sized shaft design. And their super super thin carbon shafts. Similar to Bloodsport Apocalypse arrows. And i would believe the weight/Spine requirements are nearly the same due to the thin light arrows. Sadly it's a hard guessing game to find, Since the company doesn't explain this info for those wishing to use it on Archery. Another is it's probably not great for Compound bows around 35 or above. Since these do have 3 piece joints that are screwed together. This could could problems with the flex pattern of the arrow and the large sudden jerk force applied that compound bows do. And the flex pattern of compounds go up/down. Which could lead to your arm being shot if the arrow flexes to much and hits your raise. So i'd keep to only using this on Recurve or Longbows. Since the flexing pattern of these bows fly the arrow to the left/right around the raiser and has more room to 'dodge' around. And even if it did blow. It'd mainly blow up to the side of the bow and not into your arm.As for the item. Packaging is nice, Reminds me of the old walmart micro RC toy cars that came in those big circle cans. It's probably where most of the money is going to. It's got 2 foam holders and 2 rubber cups to hold the stuff inside. Will likely come in a large envelope instead of a box.The arrows themselves. They are pretty ok. Had few inserts not glued correctly and a nock that just easily slide out of the shaft. Only had a problem with 1. But other 2 were great. The field points seem to be 8/32 size and they are not well fitting. Little tap on the arrow and they just start to wiggle/vibrate. So maybe a easy swipe to rubber washers to help keep them in place. I'm kinda unsure why the feather fletchings are WAY up on the arrow shaft. Normally arrows will have the fletchings near to the end of the arrow for flight stabilizing. But these seem to have them way up on the shaft. And the screw inserts for the take apart pieces. Be very careful when screwing or unscrewing and make sure to tighten them fairly well. The alum insert screw heads are soft alum and will bend super easily. So do make sure that the arrows are tighten well before firing. And if you do a bend test to hear for any carbon cracks. You'll probably notice a few internal crack sounds. This will mainly be the alun insert joins getting used to the flex. So don't freak out. I'd also make sure all the inserts are correctly flush with the carbon shafts. And maybe prepare yourself to get some glue. Since might get a shaft with a insert that just isn't glued in general. Or the nocks aren't able to press hold onto the arrow shafts..As for arrow flight. I have a SAS Youth 40pound recurve set to about 30pounds due to loosing the limb joints 3full turns. The only recurve bow that can from where i seen. And they seem to fly pretty ok at that low poundage. But i haven't gotten to put them on a full range test yet to confirm. So i'll update this later with those results.Overall on first overlook. For light use or just screwing around with targets. Or having these in a backpack for any suddenly survival need. They'll work. But these won't likely work for anything else that you're wanting to use them for of truly hunting.

Just arrived. Shipped in a large envelope but did arrive undamaged. Nice and tight when put together and seem to be well made. Will see if i order more or not. Great to put in a backpack when hiking. Doesn't take up much room.
