Unfortunately for me the 8 mm hole in both of the shaft extenders is slightly oversized so when the set screws are tightened on my 8 mm shaft, the shaft extender is pushed slightly off axis (no longer centered on the 8 mm shaft) from the 8 mm shaft which results in runout and excessive vibration.
