These are unique accessories for a rotary tool. They're shaped like a doughnut, flexible, and I would describe them as being similar to a scouring pad. Very lightly abrasive, and an indication of this is the fact that they say that you can use this for buffing. This is not for sanding in my opinion. So what are they good for? I would use them for cleaning, for polishing with a compound, or creating a matte surface from something that's shiny (e.g. a knob or handle). It's not an every day accessory, but I do use them from time to time. I'd get some to play around with and see if you might have a use for them because the price is pretty low for a large quantity. There's different colors for different grits but I find them to be very similar so I wouldn't get hung up on the color or grit. It's useful in the right scenarios.

The shaft are very small. It would not fit my Dremel. I had a chip rotary tool with a small collar that was able to work. You will not be able to put the buffing wheel on a new shaft. If you have a small collar for your rotary tool then this is a good buy if not I would pass.
