First of all, I was happy to find these 'stainless' cables, as rust never sleeps. The first set was an inch and a half too short, and the replacements were of unequal length, one being a quarter of an inch too short. This wasted my time and money, and makes me wonder how much quality auditing Amazon does on a regular basis...

They came two different sizes and one of them didn't fit. The smaller of the two was only 15" and short of drilling new holes would not fit. I double checked the listing and it advertised two 17" truck gate cables. Ended up going to my local autoparts store for the other cable.
