PROS: o WAY cheaper than OEM ($40 APIECE!!!) o 10 minute installCONS: o None so farWould I recommend these to a friend: YESI was a bit concerned when reading reviews for various options for these types of cables. Some indicated that the 17" cables were too short in some cases, some that it takes two different lengths. But, as far as I could tell based on my own measurements, the 17" cable would be right for my truck. I decided to order this option which is a pair of cables, and I'm glad I did. The driver's side cable had snapped so I really only thought I needed one, but since the incremental cost to get a pair was a better deal, I got the pair. I replaced the driver's side cable, and it was immediately obvious that the passenger's side cable was slightly longer, whether it was always so or had stretched over time I don't know. So I replaced the passenger side cable as well, and voila, all was as good as new. Now, if only the REST of the truck could be so :-D
