We already had the wire installed but our collars were shot and no longer charging so I had to look for a new system. This one plugged right in with our current wiring. It was a bit of a challenge to get the 2 collars to pair with the system and the remote (definitely easier to pair with the remote). It was a learning curve on how to work the remote and collars, as well as collar settings for the fence since the instructions were less than helpful. I noticed a big difference in sensitivity of the fence boundaries between level 2 and level 3. Even at level 2 the dogs are really close to the line, where as level 3 I was several feet away. Level 3 wouldn't work for us due to our layout so they are getting used to hearing the beeping and then moving back. Once learned, it works well. We just played around a lot before putting on the pups.

I purchased the 2-in-1 Electric Dog Fence with Remote Training because I wanted to ensure my dog stays safe within our yard without relying on traditional fences. The system includes a 650Ft wired pet containment setup, and the collars are waterproof and rechargeable, which is perfect for outdoor use regardless of the weather. My dog is about 50 pounds, so the system works great for his size. I’ve set it up both underground and aboveground to see which configuration suits our yard best, and both worked well in containing him within the boundaries I set. The collars have a tone, vibration, and shock function to correct his behavior, but I use the tone and vibration settings most of the time. They are effective in getting his attention and guiding him back to the yard when needed.I’ve tested the collars in different weather conditions, and the IP66 waterproof feature has been a huge plus, especially during rainy days. I’ve never had issues with the collars malfunctioning or losing power, as they last 7-15 days on a single charge. I’m also glad the collar is adjustable, so I can fine-tune it to fit comfortably around my dog’s neck.The remote training function is another feature I find very useful. When I need to correct my dog’s behavior, like when he tries to dig under the fence or wander too far, I can use the remote to activate the tone or vibration correction. It’s nice to have a simple and efficient way to ensure he doesn’t run off.I’m pleased with the setup overall. The fence system has been straightforward to install, and I feel confident that my dog is safe within the yard. It’s been a great purchase for both his safety and my peace of mind.

Was really impressed with how easy to set up it was. I'll still need to re run it and bury the wire but so far it's great, haven't tried the shock as the beep/vibrate has been more than enough for her to learn the boundary.
