We live in a rural area, was worried about not getting a signal from satellites, but the collars work great. We can’t fence in our entire yard as we live on the water, and one of our dogs likes to chase critters at night. It took about a week for them to learn. Now I can let them out day or night and not worry about them running off.My charger stopped working and I reached out to the company’s customer services email, they got back to me right away and are sending me a new one. Great product and customer service = double win!

We are using the product on two large dogs on a small acreage. So far both dogs are very responsive to the collar and we are using the beep, medium vibration and the lowest setting (1) on the shock setting. The instructions for set-up are fairly easy to follow, although the video was not that easy to find on the Amazon website and I could not find it on the product website itself.A couple of suggested improvements - the collar itself is not a very good quality for the cost of the product. And the collars are two small for my large-breed dogs so I have had to improvise and use different collars that slide through the devices.Secondly, although I am setting the center-point with the satellites in the same location in my yard, they are not setting the same boundary. One is always different from the other. So although I have the flags set up, one dog can go closer than the other before the alarm begins to sound. Maybe as I get better with setting things up, this will improve.Other than those two things, which I am working around, the product is working for our situation. And although we have a long narrow property (so a circular perimeter is not ideal), at least the two main fence lines that we are concerned about are at a perimeter we can set with the devices. For the price, compared to other similar products, we are quite satisfied with the overall quality of this one, especially since we purchased the double set of collars.

I really want to love this product however we live on a farm and we have 2 German shorthair dogs. We have purchased 5 sets of these collars. They work great for 3 months and then I'm out purchasing another set. I've not heard back from the company on replacements for them. We take them off every night to charge them, randomly one will stop charging, not turn on, can't get the vibration of the turn on/off to happen. They are a fantastic product when they work. For the money we've spent on them they should last longer than 3 months.

I made the mistake of reading the reviews and not thoroughly researching this product before purchasing. Having just moved with our 3 Huskies from a 100 acres to a long and skinny 20 acre parcel. I was becoming desperate to contain the dogs to our property. They began wondering the busy roads and it became my worst fewr of them getting close to itThey arrived super quick and set up was a breeze. I fully tested the parameter to ensure I knew exactly where our dogs could and couldn't go and marked it with flags (which was no small feat in our heavily wooded area) I noticed right away when the device beeped it also vibrated. I tried to adjust the serting but found you had to turn the vibrate off completely if you didn't want them to go at the same time. I had the shock completely turned off and decided to start training (on leash) to show them the beep/ vibrate and back into the "safe zone". After 2 hours of the initial setup, it started going off anywhere within 10-15 feet of the boundary lines. As I was trying to show them the "safe zone" and literally saying "good boy safe zone" (well within the boundary) it starting beeping and vibrated them!!! The look on my dogs face was absolute horror and heartbreak. I decided to test it again the next day and put the shock on with the tester piece, turns out if you go near the line it does all three at the same time without warning !!!! No prior beep for getting close, just full beep, vibrate and SHOCK. This is completely inhumane for dogs!! There is no warning they are even close! You are literally teaching them by shocking them without cause. I seen a review somewhere in here that the shock on a human put them on their butt. Think about the training and what you are literally leash walking your dog into to teach them the perimeter. I hope my dogs forgive me for ever putting these collars on them. And with the unreliability of the GPS signal one day a spot is safe, and the next it isn't! This is just cruel and confusing for any dog. I returned and will be buying an in ground wire with proper warning signals.

This product was great until a couple of days ago. We have had it for just over a month(literally 4 days past the return date😒). And now the collars won’t hold a charge. The whole reason we bought these collars is for deer season, which started this weekend. We even bought two sets of collars from this company and three of the four collars won’t hold a charge. This means one of our dogs won’t have a collar on. That’s dangerous this crime of year. Overall, I’m really disappointed. I was going to try reaching out to the company, but could not find anywhere to contact them. I would not recommend these collars, seeing as they won’t hold a charge after a month of use. Not worth the money!

I did a fair amount of research before I purchased and this system seemed like the best bang for the buck. I actually own a higher end wired fence system but we moved and running wire in our wooded area was not an option and in the past I had a lot of problems tracing breaks in the wire so finding this new technology was a great fit. It comes in nice packaging that’s great to store the extra replacement probes, tester and charging cord. The unit and collar looks good and is well made for an Amazon product. Set up was super easy to set up and my Aussie boarder collie mix took a whopping 10 mins to train. We live in a very rural area central Missouri with full tree cover and had no issues getting instant satellite connection. The system does need charging so buying the two dog collar system is a nice to have a charged spare but the charge lasts a while and it saves all the settings so it’s just like charging your cellphone nightly and not a big deal.

One week of use so far and it seems like an overall good purchase at this point. Battery life is very good, we put the collars on our dogs first thing in the morning and remove them when they are put in the kennel for the night, so usually at least 14 hours of use and the battery indicator has never indicated more than 1 bar has been used so far. Originally wanted one of the higher cost units where the boundaries are drawn on a map, but the center position with radius is working well for us in our situation on a farm in the country, and saved hundreds of dollars going this route. The dogs trained into it easily and picked up on their boundary quickly. I do like the 3 modes of correction, I'm running all 3 simultaneously at low levels, and they only really tested the boundary before I activated the shock, and it doesn't seem like they've pushed the boundary since then. The negatives seem really minor at this point - I activate the 2 collars at the same time, one in each hand, so you'd think the GPS center and boundary positions would be identical, but there seems to be 1 or 2 meters difference between where the 2 collars will activate on the boundary, which isn't a big deal since we use the 90 meter radius that extends just beyond our properly lines so the dogs still have the whole run of our property, but get corrected once they go too far beyond it. The most negative so far is the cheapness of the collars. They use a standard belt buckle end instead of a center bar buckle that you'd usually see on a collar, so the end flaps around freely and the connection doesn't seem as stable as it could be with a center bar buckle. It also has a reflective tape with the logo adhered to the collar, which is nice for when the dog somehow got out of the collar, it was easy to find with a flashlight in the dark, but you can see in my picture how much the reflective material is fading and peeling away after only 7 days in use. Overall very easy to use, the instructions are easy enough to understand, they came with one extra prong for each size of prong, so that's nice.

This device works incredibly well. We live on an acreage and our 2-year old Labrador was starting to explore beyond the bounds of our property. For the initial set up each day we start the GPS in the kitchen, and after approximately 2 minutes it's connected to 12 satellites. The house is an ICF build, but starting up inside has never been an issue. We set the range to 40 meters, which gives our dog lots of space to enjoy around the yard. The GPS device has 3 settings: beep, vibrate, and shock. For the first few days where our dog was getting used to the device, we used the beep and shock. The shock is very strong, and he learned very quickly to associate the beep with returning to the house ASAP. Now we only use the beep and vibrate settings (no shock), and if he forgets where he is, the beep reminds him and he calmly returns to within the set range. So why am I only giving this 4 stars? We purchased the device 6 months ago and because this is not a low-cost device, I expected it to last longer under normal use. It seems there are two weak points in its design:1. There are 2 silicone nubs protruding from the back of the device which are used to deliver the shock. The nubs thread onto small screws, but as you can see in the uploaded picture one of the screws already sheared off at the base. Because our dog is now well trained with this device, we're still able to use the receiver for its beep and vibrate functions, but if a dog was more stubborn and needed the shock, that would render the device less useful.2. My second criticism is the durability of the included collar - its very thin. Already the collar is showing a lot of wear. I expect the collar belt notches will break before the receiver itself, and it would be difficult to find a replacement collar thin enough to pass through the connecting point on the receiver. At this price point, the seller should include a second replacement collar with the device.

The collar for my 7 month old dog arrived still almost fully charged . After using it now for a few weeks I think a can provide a good review. I followed the provided setup guide and found the collar working fine . Setup just took a few minutes . While walking around with the collar in my hands I noted that the sound , the vibration and the "zip" are activated at the same time . I think they should be activated separate to give the dog time to react. But that is the only negative thing i was able to find . I set the "zip" at a low setting and the dog was trained in less than 2 hours . After 2 days only the sound and the vibration are activated and the collar is doing the job . Inside the house I take the collar off . I recommend that collar for everybody with a larger yard . Using it all day the battery is still almost full . I am happy with my purchase , it keeps my dog from running after vehicles while still having the freedom to walk around.update... we are using the collar now for a few month. The battery is fine even at -30degr C and collar is working great . After using the collar every day we where not able to turn it on anymore . It only tuck a e-mail to the service team and they did send out a new collar . thank for the great service .

When you have acreage, slopes, etc and fencing your dog in is prohibitively expensive, this well-made device saves the day!Because we wanted the "training" to be super simple for the dog, we took time to work a few things out in advance: because our small acreage is just large enough to be suitable for the smallest safe zone radius setting, we needed to get the "center spot" figured out. With a bit of measuring we established a spot for setting the GPS center of the safe zone. You need to do this each time the device powers down, which can also happen when you charge the battery, so having one clear place to set the device up each time is nice. After following the instructions for setting the GPS center, and linking with the satellites, we needed to test the device, first without the dog and with only the beep. I was pleased when the beeps went off where they were supposed to! We added the dog and while he noticed the beep at first, that didn't last long. We left the beep on to remind us of the boundary, and added the vibrate for the dog. Like the beep, after a few outings he was able to move past the alert area with just the beep and vibration. We were concerned. We kept the beep and changed from vibrate to shock. Lowest setting. Instant results! He (Charlie) reacted instantly and thankfully ran right back to us for a tasty treat and lots of praise for coming to us. Over the next few days, he sampled the alert no more than 4-5 times and he was trained. Doesn't go near the boundaries he's discovered for himself and has regained his freedom from the leash. The need to keep the device charged likely means a charge every night, as the stated battery time is b/w 15 hrs full use and up to 50 hrs on standby. If the collar is on the dog, it's in full use as it seems to have a motion sensor that wakes it from sleep. There was one display aspect that was confusing at first: when you start the device, the display will blink "00" for up to a minute while GPS satellites are being linked. You know the linking is successful when the blinking stops. Well, sometimes after a charge, the double-zero can appear, blinking. At first I was sure this meant a new set up for the GPS center spot, but if the number of GPS satellites reporting is under "04" the display will blink - they want "06" or more for a good positioning.. If in doubt, re-center the GPS.But like everything else, after a few attempts (I wanted to write "fumbles..") it starts to make sense and as mentioned in the title, it is an effective device. I was also worried about blockage of the GPS signal from trees, which we have in abundance, but so far, even in the trees, the alert registers every time.I studied the various dog-control options for a while, realized this device was worth a try and now expect that Charlie will not even need it turned on within a short time to be reminded where the boundaries are for his freedom.
