I got this as an extension for my room camera, and it functions very well, the cord is very long and you can place in any spot you like , has other accessories incase you want to screw it on your wall , very easy installation process, worth its price , and charges well . So far not issue with this item at all

When initially connected to our third generation Ring camera, all perimeters seemed correct. Then a red warning appeared stating “power lost, reconnect to battery.” The warning remained, Apple’s recommended cable purchased, installed, and there are no warnings and everything is working perfectly.

I bought this for my outdoor Ring camera. It’s plug-n-play and works out of the box. I have bought other charging kits for other Ring cameras in the past, but this one is the first with the USB-C adaptor. I like this because it future-proofs the cable to some extent if I were to buy cameras in the future that rely on the USB C plugs and not the RIng round phone plug. Also, the power coming from the charger is strong enough to charge and power the camera, similar to the original RIng power cable, but the price and the length of the cable are nice features as I need to place the camera further away than what the Ring cable can reach. I like it, and I would buy it again.

I love using these flat cables. Run them through a door or most windows and still be able to operate most doors and most windows as you usually do. With the length you can make sure that you have enough to reach your device. I use mine for my outdoor cameras, which are a different brand, but as long as the devices run on a USB-C connection, most of them work with most USB-C cables. It is super hot in the summer and super cold in the winter here so once I run the cable through the window, I am not opening that window again for a long time. Given that my devices don’t require a high rate of speed to charge I am not concerned about recharging speeds. The cord is definitely made well. It is the perfect length to run from the outlet under the bedroom window and out the window to the camera mounted to the window sill. With enough of the cable distance unnecessary for my needs I use it to weave through the camera mounted to prevent it from dropping two stories down to the sidewalk below.
