I have an older Qsee security camera setup that's probably about 12 years old and recently after a power outage and subsequent power surge when power came back, it seems my power adapter that powers the cameras went out. I tested to verify that adapter was not putting out the 12 volts required and I found it was only putting out 3 volts. I found this adapter is an exact replacement, and now I have my cameras back up again.

My 6 year old hard wired security camera system appeared to be dying. Most of the cameras would drop their signals at least once a day, requiring me to unplug and re-attach the power cables in order to get everything running again. I was contemplating replacing the system, when it was suggested I try replacing the power supply first. I installed this unit in under 10 minutes and my system is back working reliably again with no drop out of signal.
