I ordered these to use on plexiglass for a deer blind, and they are also quiet. the plexiglass is 1/4", so I drilled and attached them with a pop rivet and washer on backside

These are GARBAGE. The hinge flaps are stainless, but the pins are soft ALUMINUM with crude peened ends to hold them in place. It's a very sloppy fit between the hinge pin and stainless hinge barrels, so the hinge moves a lot side to side. Sending them back, what a waste of time. I guess other reviewers didn't notice the bad pin material.
