Although I haven’t been able to hook this up yet, Upon visual inspection, this is a solidly built controller. It is solid metal construction and is heavy for its small size. My biggest concern is the small clamp down plastic connectors do not look strong enough to hold the wires in place. I will test for proper function when I get up north and reconfigure my solar set-up.

This is a pretty nice MPPT solar charge controller. Not many bells and whistles, but you can change output and battery type settings easily. The construction is very solid and it claims to be waterproof. This is good as I'm going to be using this for a solar setup on my dock and boat lift. In quick testing it seems to work, time will tell on how well it works, how well it maintains the batteries, and how long it lasts. My biggest grip is that the wiring gauge seems a bit small to me. I'm going to discard the connectors that came with it and use MC4 connectors, which is what should have come on it. Other than that, pretty solid little unit.
