Some of the threads needed to be cleaned up and forced in. But considering the price, it is still a good value. I would probably spend a little more to not have to deal with that.

The first picture had me hoping for the inserts with the cross diamond surface for better hold, but I did find that the ones I received hold really well after half an archery season down and one deer in the freezer. Just make sure to heated glue is really dark and these should do the trick.

I like the ridges on these inserts. They have bonded much better than the original inserts I had. Heads screw in nice and tight.

These work just fine in the carbon shafts I just got. I'm making arrows now for 1/4 the price I was paying in the early 1990's. Just check your measurements.
