Professional Precision Design

9-pin Connector
- The TTL square wave signal is input through the 9-pin connector, which is perfectly matched with the linear grating encoder. Pins 1 to 4 are connected to +5V, 0V, A, and B, and pins 5-9 are empty.
High-quality Readout
- DRO signal line is protected by multi-layer isolating wire and metal softshell, power supply and signal have the good anti-interference ability. The display screen is an independent power supply, high stability. Aluminum alloy spray plastic appearance, dustproof and wear-resistant, good shielding, durable keyboard, easy to change.
Linera Scale With 3 Meter Cable
- Signal cable uses multilayer shielded wire steel and metal shell to provide extra protection . Deafult offer 3 meters (9.84feet long) cable connecting with linear scale.
- The moving speed is 60 m/min with 5μm resolution for higher working performance. 9 DB connector is suitable for different digital readouts.
- The scale body applies an aluminum profile, which is anti-vibration and anti-deformation. The read head is made of chrome-plated zinc alloy for high abrasive resistance.

If i had it to do over, i would buy the Toauto brand. They are so much better. These are poorly packaged and yes they work, but they are built so cheap. The cost is worth it to buy better ones.Seller lied to me when they went over the delivery deadline. Claimed they were shipped but they weren't. They were on a slow boat from china. They told me they were out of stock but even then when i looked it said 8 in stock. They lie and the product sucks, please avoid.

As is typical the manual is the worst part of the product. If you search JCS900 you’ll find enough variations to figure it out. I bought just the head to replace my existing DRO head that the Y axis input and number keys had died. I have Sinpo JCXE scales on my machine and the pinout is different than this readout tho the readout is offered in an alternative configuration for the scales that I have. Not a problem, I just rewired the DB-9’s for my scales and the readout works fine.The readout head comes with the mounting arm, hardware and a vinyl cover & power cord.The case is ABS plastic unlike my old head that was heavy cast aluminum. The inside is spartan in comparison to the old unit.For the money, it’s a good value and should serve the average hobbiest and home machinist well. For aproduction environment, it will do in an emergency but don’t expect it to hold up long with heavy use, especially the membrane type keypad. About the only complaint that I have is the XYZ zero keys are not in line with the XYZ direct entry keys & displays so you have to pay attention that you don’t zero out the wrong axis.

Ordered a DRO display and 2 scales. Only received the dro and 1 scale. Good luck with this company.
