Hard to get into can lights and keep in them. The springs are so very tight that they pop or let loose. Not great when they're holding up lights in your ceiling.

I had a sagging recess light in my kitchen. I would get it in place, and it would drop down again. These clips worked like a charm. I received way more than I needed but now I'm ready should another light decide to sag.

I mistakenly bought some 4" spotlights to replace my 20 year-old 6" lamps. Rather than returning them, I figured I could adapt the old surround to encapsulate the new LED. Unfortunately, that meant that neither previous or new clips/springs would work. However, these presented the perfect solution and saved my bacon. They hold the new assembly firmly but they can still be easily accessed if required. Little else to say other than they do what they are supposed to.
