Heat Shield Air Intake Kit
Is designed to substance from absorbing excessive heat from outside source. Due to the large amounts of heat given off by internal combustion engines, heat shields are used on most engines to protect components and bodywork from heat damage.
Dry Air Filter
Most new design are now dry filter instead of oil filter. Our filter do not require oil, it is reusable and washable. You can wash it with soap and water, rinse it until it is all dry up and use it again. We recommend you to check every 5,000 miles to see if it needs to be wash / clean.
Performance
Increases when engine absorbs cold air by passing through aluminum pipe to extract the heat to improves throttle response & more horsepower.

Installation
Heat shield intakes are very easy to install on your vehicle. A typical intake installation can be done with a screwdriver, pliers and a ratchet-set within 90 minutes or less. But of course if you are not sure of how to DIY, we do recommend that you take it to a professional to install.

Easy install, looks great. They could put in little longer screws for the mass airflow sensor. But other than that I'm very satisfied

Husband loves it normally he buys K&N products for intake but he bought this one and said it is just as good as the K&N but without the high price

I'm a professional mechanic and was looking for the best bang for my buck, I came across this one and just installed today. Noticeable performance as of right now waiting to see if my gas mpg goes up. If you get the Matt black finish instead of the chrome it looks almost exactly like the rough county brand. 10/10 would buy again

I like the fact that the product is not a $450 cold air intake set up. It’s much cheaper but the construction feels like quality. The welds are good welds and not just some junk stuff that you might expect to get from overseas shippers.As others have mentioned, it did not come with any instructions. However, if you are mechanically minded at all this is not hard whatsoever…start to finish took me about 40 minutes with removal of OEM equipment and install of the new. For those that aren’t, I included pictures of the connections with the blue sleeves and ring clamps that in case your close but need an extra picture. I did forget to take a picture at one step, after you remove the old air filter housing there are four bolts in the base panel. If you are standing in front of the vehicle, looking down in it, the new cold air housing will use the back too and the front right the brace in. On the bracket there are two holes that use the included screw and washers, after mounting the bracket and connecting piece, it’s just feeding stuff in place after that. As someone else said, there’s no ring clamps for the breather hoses, but if you push them down over the intake on the engine block, like all the way down, it will hold steady. I still would recommend using some just to be safe though.It helps the engine to purr a little when gassing it, but I like that.Helps throttle response and power. I’ll update the review after I’ve had several weeks with it to notate if it truly makes a big gas mileage difference.Also, FYI, after the first drive there may be a slight odor from burnoff of the coating on the metal tubing.Overall, good product at a good price. I also installed a throttle body spacer you may notice on one picture (that is not included in this kit, I got it separately and perhaps recommend it to anyone looking to boost even more with some HP & MPG gains).

It improved the pedal response noticeably. The only drawback to this was the poorly printed instructions. I used the picture from the Amazon order.

I've gained roughly 1 to 1.5 mpg with this cold air intake. For the price I don't think it can be beat. I really can't justify paying $300+ for aFe, K&N, or any fully boxed enclosed setup.The product looks to be of high quality. Before I installed the intake I did inspect the inside of the tubing, especially the welds and did not find any shoddy workmanship. For any CAI I would advise a decent inspection of the inside tubing before installing. You don't want anything from inside the tubing (metal or plastic) breaking off and going through your throttle body and into your intake.Installion was very easy. I didn't even have to look at the supplied instructions. I've done my own mods on several vehicles before. But there are install instructions included and there are plenty of videos on YouTube you can find of similar CAI installs.

Great product had everything to install except tools fit perfectly and came with additional rubber couplings gave an additional growl to the truck and seems to have a little more power may just be the sound factor but cheap easy install and looks great for the price
