Cold air induction allows for latent potential in power and fuel efficiency that would otherwise be restricted, as well as providing reduced pressure drop. A custom tune is not required as this CAI system was engineered and tested specifically for this application, ensuring MAF signal performance matches factory settings. Included is an innovative airbox lid with see-through lens. Our dry filter is proven to retain its shape under high airflow, and is composed of an inner and outer layer of wire mesh for durability and reliable support of filtration media. The filter requires no oiling and is easily washable for re-use. Included in the kit is the air filter with clamp, injection-molded lower airbox/tray with installed EPDM foam hood seal, blow-molded clean air tubes, and all required mounting hardware. The kit utilizes all factory emissions and vacuum lines. Factory mounting locations and hardware are utilized to allow for quick and easy installation.

Increased my low end torque and that increased the local drive mileage per gallon by a little over a mile per gallon. No ECU re-programming done as I would loose the warranty my new GT Tang. I got it installed at the dealer ship. Recovered my money in about six months after install. Its been 15 K miles already after the install and the cold air intake works great.

Easy installation. Good look. Throttle response a little better. Sound a little meaner. Watch out for the nut on the firewall when removing the OEM secondary air intake.

Horrible customer service after installing it on my 2018 mustang gt the car won’t stay on installation was done by my mechanic as asked to return the product .After returning the product they charged me over 100$ dollars claiming that parts were missing when everything was put together in the box on top of that I had to pay the mechanic and cut my engine cover to make it fit spend 250 $ for new engine cover as well 🤬🤬

This kit was pretty easy to install other than the 10mm nut on the firewall holding the sound tube. I think it took me about 2 hours from start to finish. Fitment is great other than you cant use your engine anymore unless you modify it. Sound didnt really change much. Performance was very noticeable but i did pair it with a BAMA tunes 91 octane performance tune. The dyno results i have seen on a stock 5.0 with the roush and a 93 octane tune have been a 30ish hp bump, i dont think i gained that much but it’s definitely in the 20-30 hp gain range. Low end power gains were noticeable as well as the upper end of the rpms.

This worked great! I decided not to cut, and this is what it came out to look like. I like it! Looks cleaner to me. I’ll just take the engine cover off when I need to change the filter, takes two seconds. Hope this helps!

This is the best looking option for the 2018 gt. Simple installation and does not require a tune. A cap is provided to plug the hole left in the firewall after deleting the sound tube. I dig the way the engine bay looks without the engine cover but you will need to trim the driver side with the provided template if you choose to reinstall. Mine shipped with only one W500224 (used to secure the tube to the housing) and an extra W506976-S437 for the lid.
