These batteries are the perfect replacement for the old, original Midland battery. As you can see the old one is leaking. These are for our Midland MXT 650 radio. It is a 5 watt gmrs radio and it stills works fantastic. These batteries gave it new life!

Like several other reviewers have stated, one of the batteries is fine but the other will not take a charge. I tried 2 different chargers and 3 different radios.

Everyone hates to go through the motions of ording and waiting only to find at the last minute you get a dead on arrival product. I suspect someone put a defective battery in my shipment. It is being replaced, but certainly a last minute issue before our trip to deal with that makes the experience disappointing.

I have an old set of Midland walkie-talkies. The rechargeable batteries were dead a long time ago and I've been using AA batteries in their place. I ordered these to give them a shot and go back to rechargeables. They fit perfectly and charge up well. The advertised life of these are better than the original. These are rated at 900 mAH and the OEM batteries were 700 mAH. Time will tell how well they last. I'm just glad to have new life in my old set of walkie-talkies.
