Excellent Resin!I use lots of resin and this is a pretty good brand! It mixes up well and takes color (mica and alcohol ink) really well.You will want to use bubble mitigation (vacuum chamber or pressure pot) but otherwise, it cured as expected.

This product does exactly what it is designed to do but it is not an odorless epoxy. Once you mix the 2 together there is a strange smell that after using it for about 1 hour I had to stop because it started giving me a headache. I was hoping this would work because the price was great. Guess I’m still on the search for an epoxy to use in my resin molds.

Works really well, huge bulk amount! Really good value. Works like most other 2-part resins, just follow the directions and it works just fine.

I couldn’t be happier with this clear, high-gloss epoxy! The finish is crystal clear and has a beautiful glass-like shine that makes all my projects look amazing. It’s super easy to use—self-levels perfectly, and I had no issues with bubbles.My 3D prints stay protected and look great for a long time. This epoxy has completely transformed the look of my miniatures and custom designs. Highly recommended!

EDIT: I came back to say that even though I still think it take a VERY long time to cure, now that the holiday rush is over & I have time for a long curing process this stuff really does make nice pieces. It is sooo clear & virtually no bubbles after resting a minute & hitting with a heat gun for a few seconds. I may purchase again for larger pieces that don't requure a rush... I gave it 2 stars because clarity is good & very little bubbles after mixing & letting sit for a couple minutes. But the curing time is kind of ridiculous. This is my second project I have tried it on and it is still extremely soft & tacky after more than 15 hours to cure this first layer. The first time I thought it might have been because I poured a small trinket tray & it was a little cooler than normal in the house. Yesterday early evening I tried it again because the house was not cool & I really wanted to like this due to price. But this morning after 15 hours the thin base to this coaster is still not ready for me to build the next layer(s) of it. I don't know about you, but I don't really have the time for this kind of waiting.

My wife wanted this resin for a special project she was doing. She had never used a 2-part epoxy resin before, so she watched numerous YouTube videos to learn about the process.This kit comes with everything needed to measure and mix the resin. We also used a scale to make sure the amounts of Part A and B were equal. While mixing, there were quite a few tiny bubbles. My wife poured the mixed resin on a test piece of painted wood. She wanted to make sure it would adhere to the painted surface. The resin is self leveling, so we watched as the bubbles reached the surface and disappeared. She used a heat gun held about 5" to 6" from the surface to eliminate the remaining bubbles. She learned about this trick from a YouTube video. It works like a charm!Now, we just had to wait. The instructions say the resin cures in 24 – 48 hours. In 24 hours, it was fully cured. The final finish is crystal clear and very high gloss. It is just the finish my wife was looking for on her project.

I have begun my journey working with resin.First I used a more expensive popular brand and I had a lot of bubbles. Probably I should have let that one sit longer and de-gas.Then I did a couple of experimental projects with this Hey Clear, and I did let it sit for 10 minutes first, because it has a little more working time. The bubbles cleared before that, though. So that was good.I tried to make coasters with alcohol ink and resin paste for the petals, as per a YT videos, but I missed a few steps I didn’t remember from the videos (but now I have written step by step notes!),Here’s what worked and turned out well:#1) I didn’t have bubbles! #2) it was crystal clear and #3) the cured product is nice and hard.I am very confident that next time I will succeed.
