We requested this carrier for an up coming trip. Our cat loves going in as most cats like a confined safe place. The construction seems decent and the zipper works well. This folds up small for when not in use. This is very light weight. Recommended for cats or small dogs and I would bet that the cats will tolerate this better than a dog. Not a bad price for an approved carrier.

This is VERY small. Our cat hardly fits in it, but since we won't be using it for long periods of time it will do the job. The zippers seem temperamental. I don't expect them to last very long. They will probably break easily and then this will be of no use. Overall, I'm kind of disappointed in it.

This pet carrier will work great for transporting my small dog. I believe the recommended animal sizes for the carrier that are described are accurate. What struck me right away as I assembled this unit (really just putting the floor in) is the quality of the materials and how sturdy it feels when assembled. It is very well thought out and has a very nice carrying strap. It folds down nicely when not in use which is great for storage without taking up a ton of space.I previously would take my dog to the vet in her kennel which is heavy and cumbersome, but this will work so much better. I recommend it! I included a couple of photos of it assembled, it is really nice!

I got this pet carrier because I have been looking for one similar to the other two I have (duffle bag style) since we've gotten a third cat and this one is perfect for her (she is the one outside of the carrier). Height-wise, it's a little smaller than the other two we have but it works out because Cat 3 is smaller than the other two. In the pic, you can see Cat 1 trying to call dibs on the carrier and he's much bigger than Cat 3 is. Cat 3 is about 10 pounds while Cat 1 is about 15 pounds to give you an idea of size. Using Cat 1 as a reference, height is short for him if he was standing but seems like it's pretty roomy for him to stretch out in. The carrier also seems pretty sturdy while carrying it around with him inside. I love that one end opens up into a dome to give even more room. There's also a safety issue where you can lock one end of the zipper to the other when the ends and tops are closed to prevent any entryway from getting open accidentally. I also really like the extra pocket feature where you can store the longer strap or kitty snaps. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this carrier.

I love that you can unzip one side to extend the carrier - what a concept! The carrier also seems a little wider than some, which is very welome. My cats are huge, with the largest once clocking in at over 17 pounds. I can carry him in this. The clips for the shoulder strap seem strong, but I use the handles with him just to be sure. There's a sherpa mat inside that comes out. The sides are mesh, making it highly breathable for your pet. There's even an expandable zipper compartment on top where you can stash a leash or some treats.

I would recommend this for absolutely tiny dogs only. My cat is almost too big, but this is durable and safe so I will not take stars off.

I try to be very truthful in my reviews, but it's definitely going to seem like I'm glazing this because of how much I love it.Firstly, it arrived undamaged and packaged well. First plus. It was easy to unfold and did not really need any assembly past inserting the "floor" bit, which, by the way, can have the hard piece taken out so you can watch the fuzzy cover. I really love all of the "lockable" zippers and you can also put tags and such on them. The exterior hood is easy to fold out but you kind of have to squish it back in and it zips up so there's no risk of it flopping out. The handle / strap is sturdy and both our smaller cat and our fat ~15 pound cat can fit in it no problem but it's still pretty compact.I like that it has a metal frame because this makes me feel more comfortable that they'll be secure and will not go flying if we get in an accident or something, and it has a lot of pouches where you can store things.Another feature that I GASPED at was the little name card has 2 sides! So I can use it for both of our cats :)
