Really nice for our outdoor covered patio! We don't have overhead wiring, so a ceiling fan doesn't work. This is a great alternative because it doesn't take up the space of a normal fan, but we are able to mount it to the wall and plug it in. Has worked really well! Can't wait for the weather to get even warmer to see the impact it has!

There are some things to know about this wall mounted, oscillating fan to make installation easier. The fan is well made and moves air great. It has 3 speeds, oscillates and a timer function. The tilt from vertical to down angles is a manual step down by pushing the fan down or up physically. The oscillation feature can only be turned of or on using the included remote, the timer function is from 1/2 hour to 7 and 1/2 hours. The remote can be used for all functions, there are buttons on the fan to control the 3 fan speeds and the timer function. The fan functions and look great. As far as assembling the fan, the instructions are sparse. I recommend doing the steps in order or it can be confusing to install. There will be a very small black screw and nut that is not mentioned in the instructions. The screw and nut are used to hold the bottom, dead center of the fan blades wire cage together. Also the metal back plate that attaches to the wall to hold the fan is attached to the fan blade and cage so do not discard it accidentally. Finally the fan color on the blades faces out toward the room. Like I said, overall this fan works well, is well made and moves air well.
