We are building a hot rod from a many decades old car. So, we are using these for side milling and end milling the new metal flooring. These are small bits for speedy, precise work with a nice finish and they work well!

So far the two smaller ones I've used in My mini mill have chewed through Aluminum and HDPE like champs, and didn't snap in half like others have.

Nice set of end mills for the home shop or hobby machinist. They are amazing compared to the HSS end mills I'm used to using. They really bring new life to my 75 year old Bridgeport.

I always wanted a set of drill bits for metals. As a DIYer, the most difficult for me has always been working with hard metals. This is especially when having to drill a hole through metal. These drill bits are of various sizes and each comes inside its separate plastic tube. The bits look well made and of high quality. I test drill by using the smallest bit and it performs very well. I am impressed and glad to have gotten this set of bits for many future projects.

These cutters are accurately sized and like to run fast. I took the 3/8 end mill, spun it up to 4000 rpm, and cut a groove in hot hot rolled steel 0.300 deep in a single pass. Returned to where I started as a spring pass (it did not not cut anything). I was cranking the feed handle about as fast as I could and the endmill walked though it like a hot knife through butter. Checking with a good set of digital calipers, the single pass produced a groove width of 0.3755 with a reasonable sidewall finish and an almost mirror bottom finish. These are definitely good cutters with proper flute geometry.
