They are ok. Since I don't have a mill, I use them in my drill press and take very light cuts.

I was not expecting much at this price but I was pleasantly surprised. These cutters cut very well and leave a good finish. Durability seems good at the moment as they have not dulled after reasonable diy use.

I almost didn't want to write a review, because it will probably increase sales, and then the price usually follows... these are a phenomenal value. Very sharp, cutting brass and aluminum like butter with no noticeable dulling after several small projects. I have also run them through mild steel, and annealed O1 tool steel (!!) and they did great on both. I'm going to order multiple more sets right now before the price increases.

all the endmills had rolled over edges on the ends of the flutes 2 big chips in the 1/2 inch endmill the 1/8 inch endmill was 0.010 over on 2 flutes then 0.015 on the other 2 flutes another chip in the 5/16th endmill the 1/4 endmill was just garbage dull as heck several chips in the flutes just completely not useable for anything but roughing the only decent endmill was the 3/8 witch didn't have any chips but all were very poor quality none of the flutes match each other all having different looks like each endmill was off center while being machined

Perhaps someone should have preserved the edges during manufacturing.

I expected very little of these based on the very low price (which got 20% lower two days after I ordered them), but once I got them they were an immediate return unfortunately. The 1/2" was missing from the set, which I might have just done an exchange for, but as I examined the rest of the mills they were just pretty poor quality and the 5/16" was quite badly rusted inside of its sealed tube. Sadly, this product listing "borrows" photos/graphics from other products, so you can ignore the ones that show coated cutters and center-cut ends - the bits are uncoated "bright" HSS with typical ends for 4-flute (i.e. they are not center-cut, will not plunge more than a couple millimeters before the "nipple" stops progress). End cuts were marginal and would have required touchup before use, lands and margins on the flutes were poor enough that they should have been rejects - quite rough and trying to sharpen them would have needed to remove so much material as to reduce the diameter considerably because of the almost serrated grind. I think "for the price" these are ok, but if you're considering these, also consider that these tools generally need to be "correct" and for-the-price may not mean that they even work as intended, not just for-how-long, etc. I suppose these would have been ok for a little in hardwoods or phenolics (for a short time), possibly softer aluminums. I replaced these with some carbide ones on here for a little less than forty bucks and they are worlds better in quality and grind.

All arrived in good order, and fit collets perfectly. They were well greased, so no rust as far as I can see, and very sharp. I will repost after I do a few more jobs on it to see how good the edge retention and surface finish is.

Perfect for my amateur metal mini milling projects. Work very well in aluminum. From my experience I highly recommend. Bits are durable and very inexpensive..
