I just received these yesterday. None were broken and easy to install. I soaked them in water for 10 minutes, dug a hole and planted them. I think this will be perfect for our hot Arizona days.

his really works, helps keep my blueberries from heat stressing in the daytime and my potted citrus in 25 gallon pots, well 2 of these and I really don't water anymore. BUT, LOTS of bottles to fill. It is worth the trade off for me as I care deeply how my plants are doing in the hot dry weather.I really use them, bought several bundles and some from other companies. All pretty much the same. They are delicate, but functional. You need to take care not to break them but if you are just a little careful, it should not be a problem.

I thought about giving it 4 stars because one did break but seriously.. they're not metal. I took the advice of another reviewer & had it shipped in Amazon packaging & they all arrived in one piece. I also soaked them overnight before using them. The one that did break was prob because I pushed too hard on it. I bought the biggest pack they had. I believe it was 20 of them & didn't pay much more than $30. Not a bad deal. They do seem like they're not as thick as they maybe could be but they work just fine. Just be gentle with them & they should last.

It’s been ten warm, sunny, rainless days since I installed these and so far my plants look great. I used six of them in a raised bed about 2x10 feet, and have never had tomato plants this lush and fast growing. I need to top off the bottles only about once a week.They are fragile. Two broke in transit, but Amazon offered a very fair price adjustment. Another broke in use, but not so bad that I couldn’t repair it with good ol’ duct tape.I can recommend these, keeping in mind you may only get two or three seasons out of them.

So disappointed with new packaging - ordered 3 orders at different times. FIrst was great and in good shipping box. Second and third time had at least 4 or 5 out of 20 spikes broken. Box shipped in both times was cheap and not secure enough to keep items from breaking. 2nd time even got a USED spike - broken and with dirt on it.

These work very well! I live in NC and it gets really hot during the summer. These lasted 2-3 days and kept my plants thriving throughout the summer heat. They are very fragile though, but if you follow the instructions on how to set them up, you shouldn't have any issue installing them.

Timely watering, filled with water weekly. Can add long neck glass bottles for extended watering. Everyone thinks I am wiz but keeping plants at proper moisture level is KEY. Love these use inside and out.

I used these for my indoor plants and the planters on my porch and deck. My flowers bloomed longer because they were getting a consistent supply of water. I would suggest to remember not to push the bottle into it. I pushed on one and it broke
