A good little inexpensive pneumatic die grinder. It has plenty of power, is well balanced, and it's smooth running. I used this to carve out some steel with a carbide bur and it never missed a beat. Lacked any significant vibration and got the job done without any extra effort. Includes all of the collet wrenches you'll need to tighten down 1/4" shank tools. It does not include a 1/8 collet but I only use this die grinder with 1/4" shank tools so that's okay. I like it.

A nice little die-grinder. Does exactly what it's supposed to do.As we see air tools increasingly replaced by Lithium Ion battery powered tools, I have to bring this up: How well do these battery powered items perform when left on the shelf for a few years? We all know the answer: Not well. For most home shops, a die grinder is not a frequently used tool. I know that with a little oil and stored in a clean drawer, I can pull this out 10 years from now and it will function like the day it was new. There are no batteries to fail or wear out (and let's think about the environmental impact of those darn things!).This tool, like many compressed air tools, can be disassembled for repair. That means one less broken tool headed to the landfill. When it does finally fail, it's made of 100% recyclable steel so it can be melted down and made again.Don't give up your air compressors! (And buy this die grinder. It works.)
