Got it as a gift. It would be nice if it stood a little higher so someone's head could fit underneath it during a sound bath, but there are ways to work around that.Quality materials and easy to put together. Definitely would recommend.

I have been wanting a set of koshi chimes for a long time and when I saw this I jumped to get it because I knew having it would be the excuse I needed to invest in a set! (I'm a yoga teacher trained in sound healing.)The wood has a great natural smell to it. The pieces were packed in good order and condition was good upon arrival. The hooks for the chimes are pre-drilled and installed, which is great (imo) because a lot of furniture requiring assembly seems to have issues with the drill holes and I don't own a power drill. This appears that it will assemble with no issues. I will update my review later should I have any issues with assembly. For now, I am holding onto it for an upcoming move when I will purchase the chimes for use in my new yoga/meditation space!It seems that it would work equally well for a small or medium gong, as indicated in the listing. That said, it seems designed for a set of 4 chimes and I am not sure whether a gong hangs in a similar fashion.

I bought this product to used in my suite for my chimes. Even though I measured before purchase when I put it on the table occupied too much space. It is great for a gong but unpractical for chimes.

This works for my 12" gong. It looks good and is minimal but it's kind of cheap wood and feels a little unstable. I think it's over priced for what you get, but I kept mine.

100/100I have several "chimes" and gongs I use in meditation and need some way to keep them suspended. THIS is perfect! I have several instruments hanging from it and that makes it easy to move between them to play while doing meditations.It is solid wood and comes totally disassembled, but a few minutes and cautious tool use produces a GREAT percussion stand with a very "organic" look.Ultimately, is it worth the price? Yes
