Sharp and aggressive. Used to route a guitar body. It cut very quickly and left a surface that required little sanding. Overall, a good value.

It worked a lot better than the two blade bit it replaced. I used it on about 100 pieces of white oak. It is fantastic as long as youโre not asking it to cut more than about 1/8โ. More than that it needs multiple passes.

I was skeptical of this bit, but it works great! It is not a finish-ready cut, but for shaping aggressively, you couldn't ask for a better price. I used it for making a guitar body. Using a template, I trimmed it to about 1/4 inch away from the template and went to town. It was just under 2 inches thick of a piece, and this bit handled it like a champ.I still have more work to do on the piece, but this saved me tons of time by being able to route that much in one pass.

I made some cutting boars that I wanted to put some feature strips in, and in the past I ran into problems with standard flush trim bits grabbing the material and causing tearout that wasn't repairable. So far with this segmented bit I achieved muchbetter results without any problems.

Made the purchase with cutting length a priority. The bit leaves lines. There is no overlap between cutter surfaces and the bearings aren't the same diameter. I would not recommend.

They worked perfectly for what we needed to use it for in our wood shop!

Nice sharp cutter and seems to be well balanced. The cutter teeth stay clean and unclogged.

When these bits arrived I was skeptical. They looked more like parts out of a chipper truck than precision woodworking tools. But I gave them a try, template routing an African mahogany guitar neck. They produced a very smooth finish and followed the template around the end grain without blowing out any splinters. There was a little burning on the end grain, but only on the butt end, not the headstock where the wood was thinner. I appreciate the long length and double bearings. Plenty of versatility. And the half inch shank means they won't break or vibrate. These are a good addition to my arsenal.
