So how did it exploded, I had tapped the side and it was singing I then used the mallet to go around the top making the sound louder as the sound increased it suddenly exploded on one side. Did it commit suicided did I overdrive the sound I don't know. I contacted the seller they sent me a how to use video, kinda useless at this point. I believe there was a flaw in the glass, no help from the seller so I guess I am out 100.00Product is make in china

I was pretty nervous about ordering a singing bowl off Amazon but I have been pleasantly surprised. The sides are a little thinner than my prior bowls purchased from a different vendor but it still plays beautifully and is right on pitch.

The bowl is amazing simply wish it would have come with a suede mallet as opposed to the rubber one.

I initially ordered a 10" Crown Chakra bowl and the sustain was not what I would expect at all. Interestingly most Chakra sets come with the Crown as a 6 or 8". So I returned the 10" and almost ordered an 8" and my gut said that I would be happier with the 12" for less than $20 more than I paid for the 10". Unfortunately, the original company that I ordered from did not have a Crown in 12" so I went with CVNC and I could not be happier. The sustain and resonance are definitely what I desire for my Sound Therapy work.
