I bought the 10 pack of the third string (the G string), because for some reason that kept breaking on me. Well buying these accelerated that: I had to change the G string out two or three times a week.

I change string often and I change out all 6 at a time with a new set. But if I’ve only had a new set of strings in for a short time and I break one string, I like to buy individual strings to replace those instead of changing out a whole new set or robbing a full set for one individual string. These were awful. They break easily, they sound thin, and they don’t stay in tune. You’re better off buying sever full sets of strings from a reputable company with a name in the business and creating your own individual replacement strings from those packs, if that makes sense. These were really bad. I would have returned them if I hadn’t used so many of them in under two weeks because of how quickly they break.

For some reason, I go through D's faster than others, so glad to have the individual stings available. Mine came with ball-ends, which is ok, but be aware of that. There may be other options.
