I used this in a marine application and I'm pleased with the unit. I did not use the supplied wire connectors as I don't consider those sturdy enough for a marine application. I used crimp connectors with shrink tubing. Overall I'm very pleased.

This is a solid little box with a protected toggle switch - ready to mount up and use in a variety of situations were a waterproof (or dust proof) switch for DC power is needed. Its a sturdy box with mounting tabs and enough power cable to reach a usable distance to other junctions. As a battery cut off/power switch for a small Dc-Dc converter and battery in a case, its a well protected but easy to use power switch - Feels like it will hold up well over time and works fine

This is a clever inline switch designed to open and close a 12 volt circuit. The device consists of a heavy duty toggle switch that has a continuous length if cable connected through it. The cable is designed to be cut to connect one end to the power source; the other connects to a load. The cable is sturdy at AWG14. The switch is solid construction, rated for 24 volts, up to 20 amps, with an IP67 waterproof rating. The device comes with two splicing blocks to make the cable hookups easier. A four page User's Manual is also included.I will be using this to control an effects device on stage that is powered by 12 volts DC and requires several instant On/Off instances. This device will be perfect for this application, making it a great value for its cost.

Used as an inline switch on my large zero turn mower (a light bar wired to the battery with an inline fuse and this switch). It can take major vibration and can get wet (rain, dew) without issue.

This switch feels well built and assembled. Everything was tight and secure, including the wires screwed to the switch. The included power cable is marked as 14AWG and it seems to measure appropriately in core diameter. Also looks and feels like quality stranded copper wire.I did disassemble the unit for inspection and was please with what I saw. The wires inside the switch box body were neatly routed, not all tangled or inadvertently crimped/crushed, as well as being securely fastened to the switch itself. The glands for the cable also looked like they evenly compressed the circumference of the outer jacket of the cable.I'm not sure about the IP67 rating, especially now that I've opened it (not that I'm ever going to submerge it for any reason). I supposed if you torque the switch cover screws and cable glands to spec, it might meet the 67 rating. Good luck finding those specs. I'm confident it'll be protected from rain and/or the occasional spray from a garden hose. Good enough for me.

I have a similar switch from the same company and I have had no issues with it. This one has an included 10 foot loop of 14 AWG, 2 conductor cable. I like that the user can cut the loop based on their needs. The product photos are accurate. The included product user manual claims it is rated for 20 amps. I wouldn’t push that much current through it continuously. For me, the only negative thing about this switch is that the screws don’t have metal inserts. They are screws going into plastic. I would be suspicious of the IP67 rating after opening the box (e.g., to alter how the switch LED is powered per the manual).
