For whatever reason, it seems far easier to find the power motor version of this mechanism than the replacement part for the manual models. Fortunately, they are identical except for the worm gear and shaft components, which can be easily swapped over- provided the originals are intact, as mine were.Construction seems to be of the typical cheap pot-metal, same as the original and all other replacement parts I have found. As a result, it's hard to be confident it will hold up long-term, as my original crumbled away within four years.

This installed easy and fit. The issue with all of these is they are made cheap. Maxxair should replace these for free or get one made that will last. That being said this is as good as the original. This supplier is fine. 3 stars because they are all junk. Keep extra in the camper.
