I am a beginner, but these came folded and wrinkled. I used the blow dryer since I don't own a heatgun yet, and the results were disappointing. I have ordered some heat shrink seals that shrank up perfectly with the hair dryer, but these shrank with a very wrinkled texture instead of looking smooth while seeming more difficult to work with. It's possible that a professional heat gun would make a difference, but seems like the wrinkles are keeping it from laying flat enough to get a flat finished look. They smelled a little funky and I was hoping for better results, but I did not end up with holes in the end. The worked, just not as easy or with the nice look I had hoped.
