This must've been a returned item. There were 3 packages unside a ziplocked back that were already opened and used. This was very frustrating. I only needed 1 to clean my machine, but I should've returned it and received my money back because this shouldn't happen.

These cleaning cards are actually for magstripe readers, at least according to their packaging, but they work reasonably well and fit in Dymo printers. They were saturated with alcohol/detergent, but not oversaturated i.e. they did't leak everywhere over labels or internals of the machine.I'd suggest putting a little dab of light grease or oil over the gears of the feeder as well whenever you do this, it helps prevent adhesive residue and bits of paper from getting stuck in the feeder gears. YOU ONLY NEED A DROP OR TWO THOUGH, and make sure not to get the oil on the rubber grippers for feeding the labels otherwise they'll slip and your printer won't work right. I do about 200 labels a month, so cleaning often is pretty important.5 stars, good to have cheap maintenance!

I don't have a Dymo, but I do have a thermal printer. This will not work in generic thermal receipt printers. It won't feed through any of my four different thermal printers. The card is wet, so I rubbed it on the printing areas, but it did not take care of all the printing artifacts. Oh well. I'm not taking stars away for the not feeding part, because I don't have Dymo. I do however believe the wet sheet should work regardless of the brand of printer if I just rub it on the printing surface. After all, that's what it's doing if it's running through a printer, right? The sheet did show dirt when I was done and three of the printers print well. It's the fourth that's still a problem. Maybe I just need to clean some more.

I tried the DIY version. Worked, but not quite. Used these, and my Dymo 4XL is printing like new. Thank you!!

Unfortunately this was not successful in cleaning my Dymo printer, which has had a few very thin (1 pixel) blank lines in printouts for a while. The blank lines are always in the same location on prints. I was hoping my printer's problem was just that it had some tiny dust or adhesive coating the print mechanism in those blank spots. I think these would probably work to clean those issues, but I guess that is not the source of the problem on my printer. These cleaning cards are essentially a moderately thick paper like a heavy cardstock soaked in isopropyl alcohol or similar cleaning mixture. Also of note is the instructions on the packaging are only for card readers (like credit cards.) But you can run them through a label printer, though it doesn't like the thickness. If it isn't feeding because it's too thick, you can pull up the lever inside the Dymo printer that increases the gap where paper goes (usually used for clearing paper jams etc) and sort of manually feed it back and forth while holding the lever.
