I purchased these cleat covers as a back-up for another pair from Amazon, which are currently installed on my cycling shoes. In the pictures, the black covers are the reviewed product, while the turquoise covers are the ones I already had, made in Taiwan.The first time I ordered the black covers (a few days ago), I received a small ziploc bag of shower door rollers instead. After conferring with an Amazon representative, I re-ordered what appears to be the same product from a different vendor -- still Chinese, but for more money.They arrived today (11.1.2024), but with only three screws where four are needed. Additionally, the screws do not fit well through the slots in the cleat; the screw body widens toward the top, and exceeds the slot opening width.The black cleats appear to be fairly thick and sturdy, although the border at the cleat opening is much thinner than the turquoise cleats.Overall, it's a middling job by the Chinese manufacturer, possibly done in a rush to get to market. Particularly compared to the turquoise (Taiwanese) cleat, it doesn't look like it will last as long. Nor will the bolts go in as easily.
