I bought this 3 x 7 for my grandson who was having difficulty with his friction grips--he found it difficult to engage gears, The grips shifts required lots of torque. So, I bought this inexpensive grip set. Both grips come with cables. The problem is that you can't change cables. I decided not to install them. I went to higher price grips where replacing cable was possible.

I only used the front shifter and unfortunately it didn't work well. I couldn't adjust it to shift properly.To be honest I didn't think the quality is that good. It doesn't seem like it would last the long haul, and these shifters are under tremendous stress when being used.I didn't install the rear shifter so I can't comment much on that but the quality is the same so that isn't good.

This was an amazing project thank you parts fit well , an user friendly, the racetrack hand grips were appreciated,

These replaced really old and broken handlebars. They fit the bike well, were easy to install, and made the bike look brand new. They are also comfortable to hold. Couldn't really ask for more from replacement handle bars.
