Cortool Forstner Bits have a double-ground and sharp serrated edge. It has multiple cutting edges, so it slices throughout the rotation of the bit with less splintering and chipping, and produce perfect flat-bottom holes. This is a great bit, nice and sharp. This bit is worth having in your drill bits. I would recommend this bit. Cut the wood with ease making a very nice round hole for a tea light I placed in a small wood project.
