It is not for spring mattresses. It should clearly state that it does not have full top support for mattresses with springs. If you have a spring mattress or want something with full support, then I recommend getting a board cut from a lumber store, like Lowes or Home Depot.

Perfect fit for our new king sized bed, our new mattress was a bit soft and the slats on the new bed platform were more than 3" apart. This helped firm it up plus it gave much needed edge support. Very well made and size was spot on.

This was so much easier to place in bed frame than a box spring that you would have to peice together. Just open unfold and place. This holds over 600lbs and is sturdy. I'm very pleased with this product.
