I am so irritated by this. I read review and with little exception, they are all good. I have 12 aquariums in my house & counting. Decided to go with one of these hook to the sink jobies to do water changes. I hooked this to multiple sinks including my Spicket outside. There is no suction. It won't suck any water from the tank. It will fill the tank. But what giid is that if AI have to suck the water out by other means. This is a waste of time and money. It doesn't come with instructions. Instead it comes with a code to type into YouTube to see how it's set up. No worries because it is easy to figure out on your own. I just figured maybe I had done something wrong when it didn't work. I have good water pressure in my house too. I tried sucking tanks that were high off the ground. Nope. Tried sucking tanks that were low almost on the ground. Nope. If I could give this a negative star, I would. I'm not impressed at all. Took forever to arrive to not work at all.

I’ve been using this gravel vac on sand and gravel for nearly a year now and I’ve not had any issues with it. It works great and helps me with water changes even when I don’t need to gravel vac. I recommend this for sand and gravel, just be careful when vacuuming sand not to get to close to the sand or you will loose some, but this would be the case with and gravel vac.

My purpose is to refill my turtle tank without bucket 🪣. Although, this is not my organical product. Amazon was just being kind to me the seller from the other product never reached out. It's a little smallerbut has completed the mission.

You can fill up the aquarium but not have suction especially when you follow instructions and plus been experienced using a smaller hose knowing how to get suction through a hose this hose is horrible you cannot get it to flow when you got it connected to the sink you get it to run to suction you cannot get any power but when you flip the switch to fill up the aquarium it does that and the hook up is not properly great use the plastic hook up is an issue I even took an idea to suction at the end of the hose by mouth by having it disconnected from the hookup and let it lay in the sink drain which is the other fashion I'm familiar of that idea could not stay flowing. But and is long enough but not a great idea I recommend find another one.

I have been doing water changes in an aquarium for years and used many different styles of equipment to get the water started. I have finally found one that starts draining water with just a squeeze or two and doesn’t break after a few uses. Great product. Quick and easy to use.
