I am 5'9" and 140#. I got a medium and it fits well for the most part. It rubs my armpits, but not when I'm swimming or biking or running. I swam 1100 yards, biked 17 miles and ran a 5k (all on separate days) and did not end up with any rub spots or soreness. The fabric is thin and stretchy. Taking it off my arms takes a bit of gymnastics to not tear the fabric. Good for training or a race.
