Just installed and it works as stated. Installed in less than 10 minutes. Did a test run and all you could hear is the water existing and when done pumping I heard nothing. The thud is gone. The price is more than some, but failure with water is not something something I want clean up. Sewage is nasty.Happy customer

Replaced a standard non assisted unicheck with this one. The spring assisted flapper makes a world of difference in eliminating the water hammer effect that comes with the cheaper valves. Expensive but worth every penny. Hose and clamp connections make installing it super easy. Don’t waste your money on the cheap ones that leave you with the “thunk” when closing and will eventually fail you. Get this one, you won’t regret it.

Where has this been all my life? The quiet check valve eliminates the harsh water hammer cacophony after each pump out. I only wish I’d known about this years ago. Do not hesitate to purchase this if you suffer from house quaking racket that sets your teeth on edge and wakens you in the night.

This thing is quiet and works like it should. I wish I would have bought this a year ago. Completely erased the water hammer with the discharge of the pump. Well worth the money.

Easy install, had to remove some pipe due to previous check valve being shorter. Old one made a horrible slamming noise most of the time, would shake throughout the whole house. This is one is super quiet and no vibration when closing.

I replaced my ~25 year old Zoeller check valve on my basement sewage ejector with a new one of the same type (non-quiet) when it started making a terrible thump after the pump turned off and it reverberated thru the house. Inspecting it, it looked like the rubber seal on the flapper was all dried out. But the new one had the same issue. I first removed it and replaced it temporarily with a straight pipe, just to rule out anything else that could have been the source of the noise. Sure enough, not a peep from the ejector and shutoff. I found "The Quiet Check Valve", and it makes zero noise when the pump shuts off. It is amazing that it is as quiet as not even having the check valve there to begin with!

This check valve works great. Now I do not have to hear my sump pump working in the basement to pump water out. The cheap style flapper check valve I could hear a clunk in my basement every time the water was pumping up and out. Now I know why they call this the quiet check valve. I cannot say it enough... this product is amazingly quiet! I've had a loud, gut-wrenching CLUNK every time the sump pump finished cycling. I've been in the house for 10 years and every time I heard the clunk I grimaced, expecting to find the pipe had broken because of the loud thud. I saw this on Amazon, read the reviews and decided to give it a try.AM I GLAD I DID! When the sump pump cycles now I keep expecting the loud THUD but there's nothing but pleasant, joyous silence! And it was so easy to install that I kept kicking myself for putting up with that thud for so long! I should have done this 10 years ago!!!I love this product! If I could, I'd give it 10 stars!

Before installing this check valve we could clearly hear a loud clunk, or two, from the basement as we sat in our family room every time our sump pump cycled off. After replacing the cheap noisy check valve with this unit, there was NO clunk whatsoever when the pump shut off. The flow of water through the outlet pipe was also quieter. Now when we sit in our family room we have to strain to hear if the sump pump is actually working!

This product works. It was easy to install. Feels and looks well constructed. Most importantly it does what it says, there is almost no noise or vibration when the valve closes. This eliminated a major water hammer problem caused by a standard check valve on my basement sewage pump. Completely satisfied!
