I am using a hand full of these to help make lifting a drop down deck on a trailer easier to pick up. It almost stands up by itself now! You can easily add these to most drop gates on trailer or drop ramps. Highly recommended.

Worked like a champ for my gooseneck ramps.Broke one of my springs decided to replace them both.I was a little skeptical about the length of the legs going out of the coil. I decided to try anyway and they were long enough without a problem.The diameter of the steel is identical to the original,The spring is strong enough to provide plenty of assistance with retracting the ramp.The paint held up to the spring contracting.I believe that they will serve me well for years to come.
