Had to do a charging port replacement on an Asus ROG laptop and this component did the trick. Asus has had a lot of QA problems and after finishing the repair and examining the old charging component i see why. 10/10 this is a good quality component and after extensive testing held up very well

I purchased this DC jack expecting it to fit my Asus UX580G laptop, but unfortunately, it does not. The geometry of this DC jack is different from the original, resulting in a mismatch when soldered to the motherboard. As a result, the hole for the jack does not align with the opening on the laptop case.I've attached a photo comparing the original Asus DC jack with this one to illustrate the difference. If you're looking for a reliable replacement, I would recommend searching for a compatible part instead. Save yourself the hassle!
