Finally. My cat is 19 lbs and he chewed through his last carrier in 5 minutes. He may still tear the mesh on this one, but so far, do good. Rolling him into the vets taked the pressure off my arms. I do have to lift the carrier into the car, but, it is better than lifting further from door to car. Good size.

Perfect for my new "rescue" cat. Well made and sturdy. With the wheel platform attached, it rolls so easily that it takes very little energy to get my sweetie from here to there. Good ventilation, too. This is a very good looking pet carrier, too. Bon Voyage!

Finally found a carrier that my cat fits in! My Charlie is 19 inches long and is 18 pounds. He fits! I have not put the wheels on yet but I don't foresee a problem, he fits, he ships with me! I like that there's no windows on the long sides, because I don't believe that's necessary when dragging your cat through an airport. I like the roll up blind on top and it still has a screen there and on the front door too, for plenty of ventilation and to view your cat or dog. No roll up panel on the door but that's ok! Definitely recommend!

Cart is not sturdy.. my poor baby was tilting due to the base not being able to even out his body weight. Would not recommend.

This carrier with the wheeled base weigh is almost 10 lbs! I have a larger wheeled carrier for 2 cats and it weighs about the same. The wheeled base has a slide out section to fully support the carrier, and it slides in for storage, and the carrier folds for convenient storage. The wheels are very smooth, permanently attached, go smoothly on firm ground, grass, flooring, carpet, concrete and packed gravel, but not great for long periods on loose gravel.This is the most heavy duty and well made wheeled base I've seen. The fabric carrier is well made, one side will either roll or fold up and attach with hook and look tape. The other side is solid with a pocket. One end has a pocket, the other end allows viewing at all times, it has no cover. I do prefer the ability to hide the contents from all sides, especially because I have 1 paranoid cat who relaxes more if he can't see.What it lacks: The ONLY negatives with this carrier both have to do with the lack of a more substantial frame. While the carrier has an insert for the base for the cat's comfort and stability, there is no added support under the carrier itself should you choose to hand or shoulder carry the carrier without the wheeled base. The carrier gets it's only vertical stability from heavy wire within the ends that fold up and zip into place. Both 'could' be used as doors, but only one end has a zippered door within the zippered end. There are also 2 (metal?) support bars on the top sides that run from end to end. I would NOT place anything on top of this carrier as the frame pieces I mentioned aren't connected in any way, so the support for weight on top isn't there. This would be important in an airport setting if you wanted to put even small luggage on top or a trip to the vet where you may be tempted to place another carrier atop this one. I would also be concerned with a crush or fall accident where something fell on top of the carrier.I think if you know and can accept the few limits of this carrier and will be using it with it's wheeled base for one cat and won't need to place anything on top of it that it is an excellent choice for portability, strength, and convenience.

This is a very sturdy product, frame especially. Holds my large kitty no problem. The top opening could be larger to help with the larger cats but that is my only semi complaint. We add a thick towel too to give him more padding. I should have purchased this years ago so I didn't have to carry my cats everywhere. It operates smoothly and works like a charm. 👍👍
